🩸 A WARM LAMP REPAINTS YOUR DOCUMENT
Every document has a reference colour: paper tone, background, guilloche pattern, plastic. Providers keep sample images and compare your frame against them.
A warm household bulb runs at 2700K. The document turns yellow, the blue pattern loses its hue, white fields go cream. The check registers a deviation from the reference and raises a flag.
Phone settings finish it off:auto white balance corrects in the wrong direction, night mode pulls colours, and a warm screen filter or reading mode alters the image before you even shoot.
Worst case: mixed light. A window pushes cool, a lamp pushes warm, and two colour temperatures live on one document at once. Nothing physical explains that.
