PDF Exploit Builder

This exploit takes advantage of a vulnerability in Acrobat Reader. It has been found in a malicious PDF that exploits a second vulnerability, (CVE-2018-8120)

One of the most complex tasks for cybercriminals is to ensure their malicious code goes undetected. For this, we have gone beyond the traditional Exploit PDF methods. Some techniques where the malicious payload is hidden in encrypted files – even using a known file format. This is what we found in a new PDF Exploit in the wild: it tries to conceal the malicious files in a Exploit PDF File. And the attack starts with a simple PDF file. This exploit targets Adobe Acrobat Reader / Foxit, although will not work on Windows 10 systems.
