In August, Huntress described cases where IT specialists applied to foreign companies under stolen or synthetic identities. The materials included a residence card, a Chinese passport, an electricity bill as proof of address, and a photo taken from someone else’s GitHub account and altered to look like another person.

In one case, the person had already been hired by a financial company. After a security agent was installed, unusual remote-access devices showed up. The scheme wasn’t built on a single file, but on the whole chain: face, documents, address, hardware, and work profile.

What matters here:

- they no longer check “one form,” but the entire biography
- one weak link is enough for the whole construction to collapse
- photo, address, and document have to add up, otherwise it shows during a deep review

PABST BLUE RIBBON STOLEN FOR $95,000 WITH FAKE TRANSPORT PAPERS

In Montclair, California, unknown thieves stole Pabst Blue Ribbon beer twice in one day — $70,000 the first time and $25,000 the second.

+20 YEARS, RUSSIAN SPREAD AND A NOTE IN THE OTHER HAND

Client wrote with no fluff. Needed a Russian passport spread and a second shot: the person holding that spread in one hand, a slip of paper with writing in the other. Source – a face. Data in the blank can be anything. Age – plus twenty years on the face.

And both frames had to look like a regular phone live. No studio, no plastic, no “drawn” look. Text on the paper like a pen, lines like handwriting, not like a printer. Then he sent a pack of source photos and the exact text plus date for the slip.
